Tis the Season....
Well..I think Christmas came this year in the blink of an eye. This was the first year I ever did my shopping 3 days before.Crazyness.I will never do that again...but I can say it all turned out great as usual and my kids got everything they wanted. Not to mention we all spent it as a family and that's all I ever want. Family is everything to me..
We just celebrated Jordan's 4th birthday on the 17th.Cars 2 style @ Chuck E Cheese. He got tons of stuff then and we were so thankful that everyone came out to party with us for his special day. I didnt think there was anymore toys he could get after this... but of course he did... more and more ...hahh
Christmas was spent everywhere. Hung with the Marcum family then over to Mom's for tons of family fun together...Cant ever beat our Crazy Mix.Christmas Day,busy busy. We opened gifts early morning with the kids. Hailey got her Kindle that she didnt even expect and J is Wii Shooting game. Along with much more. Then we took off to Oma's for a Dutch Christmas with the Beynaerts family. More gifts and fun..Off to the inlaw's after that to hang with the Hernandez family..where the kids got tonsss more....After fun time with the new XBox Kinect it was time to take Hailey to the Hendersons. And of course her and Jordan got more there. As I always say.We are blessed so much. There is tons of people who love and care about my babies that I am beyond grateful.Couldn't ask for more.My last stop of the night was to vist my best friend that I am beyond blessed to have in my life. A true Survivor and woman of stength,Angel! I had to drop a little something for the Thomas clan cuz they mean so much to me.After all the stops and gifts it was time to lay it down after a long day of fun.Christmas came and went. Im sure glad it's over.Till next year...Now we are ready for a NEW YEAR in 2012. I sure hope and pray this year is 10times better than 2011.I think it has lots of potential and Im ready for it.

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays.. I did...Merry Christmas... a little late but hey it counts...

Guess Who's Back???
Well.. Well..It has been awhile since I have blogged.Wow! Guess I need to get back to it..So here we go. I have had a few sessions since my last post. Recently returning from North Carolina to photograph one of my best friends wedding.
It was truly Amazing out there.Next time I go I hope to visit so many more locations. I hear there are beautiful waterfalls and so much more.
Jennifer was just gorgeous. As you can tell...

Her and Jeff make a beautiful couple and I was honored to be their photographer. I took about 1000 pictures. Which I am still working on and just about to finish..It's been hectic. I cant wait to go back.

As soon as I got back I returned to finish planning My Soon to be Sister in Laws Shower. It was a Kentucky Derby Big Hat theme party. LOL . We had a blast and I actually got cute ideas for decos...I brought out my creative side, but only due to Awesome Pinterest. Not to mention the totally amazing bridesmaids who helped so much as well....

It was such a fun party. Im actually thinking about starting Party planning business along the side of photography..Hmmmm......
I also had another shoot with the soon to be mommy, Stephanie McWoodson. That will be the next posting. I hope to keep this up and If I dont then yell and remind me. This busy single mommy life is CRAZY! But Im doing it...So till then......Adios

Let Alexis Couture Make You up!
This weekend was another busy one, but had lots of fun with my camera. My long time friend,Priscilla Martinez has gone forward with her passion and is starting a make up studio.
Say Hello to Alexis Couture Make-up Studio...

I went over this weekend and took some pics of a few of the girls she was working on. I think they came out pretty Awesome. Now, if I ever have a big shoot to do I have my girl that will be helping me with make up.You just let her know how you want it done, and Im sure she can do it for you. As you can see in the picture before, she has a variety of MAC Makeup. Gotta love it!! So many vivid colors and different ideas she has.

If I had the time and patience I would try this on myself, but being that I have 2 wild children that allows no time for this.

Hailey and I got our make up done too. My little Toots was excited. She likes to get all glammed up. As always, I enjoyed doing all the photos and editing them to look even better. Thanks to my Hubby for hanging the backdrops and Priscilla for letting me do the shoot!!! So if you ever need a make up session you know who to call
Alexis Couture ..

A Precious Angel on her way!
Well this day was probably the most meaningful shoot I have ever done. Xenia Biggs has been a friend of mine for about 4 years now. Her and I worked together for awhile and I can tell you this girl can keep you going crazy!!She is a beautiful woman and mother . One year ago Xenia lost her newborn babygirl too soon. Karen was only a few weeks old and passed away one night in her sleep. The moment I heard about this it hurt my heart so much and I couldn't help but cry for her. Being a mother I know the love she had for her baby and I couldn't imagine losing my babies. I pray every single night that God watches over my children and to take me first before ever letting harm come to them. I often think about this precious angel that my friend lost, but I know she is never going to be forgotten and she will live in her family's heart forever.

As I could only imagine how hard this must have been on this family, I know Xenia is very strong and has a great husband and son that has helped her pull through this all.I always say God works in mysterious ways and for her he did. She has been blessed again with another baby girl that she will deliver in the next 2 weeks. I can not wait to meet her.Since I have been informed I am the photographer that has to be there to take her newborn pictures and her 1st photo shoot when she is home. :)
I met up with Xenia again after 4 years and was so happy to see her and meet her son,Christopher. He was very shy and not too sure if he was comfortable taking pictures, but being my crazy self I made the boy come to life!!

I had Xenia bring a few of the things she had that reminded her of Karen and some of the mementos she has kept for her. This picture is my favorite since they are both holding the frame that holds Karen's tiny footprints.I think this picture will forever be treasured by them and myself. This is why I love to do what I do,because there are so many moments that you don't wanna miss and you always want to treasure forever.

I can only imagine the things Xenia has gone through, but I do pray for her often, that the Lord gives her strength to pull through it. I told her that when this baby girl comes a little part of Karen will be with her, and when she see's her she will know it. Thank you Xenia for letting me take part in this day with you and Christopher. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.
