A Precious Angel on her way!

Well this day was probably the most meaningful shoot I have ever done. Xenia Biggs has been a friend of mine for about 4 years now. Her and I worked together for awhile and I can tell you this girl can keep you going crazy!!She is a beautiful woman and mother . One year ago Xenia lost her newborn babygirl too soon. Karen was only a few weeks old and passed away one night in her sleep. The moment I heard about this it hurt my heart so much and I couldn't help but cry for her. Being a mother I know the love she had for her baby and I couldn't imagine losing my babies. I pray every single night that God watches over my children and to take me first before ever letting harm come to them. I often think about this precious angel that my friend lost, but I know she is never going to be forgotten and she will live in her family's heart forever.

As I could only imagine how hard this must have been on this family, I know Xenia is very strong and has a great husband and son that has helped her pull through this all.I always say God works in mysterious ways and for her he did. She has been blessed again with another baby girl that she will deliver in the next 2 weeks. I can not wait to meet her.Since I have been informed I am the photographer that has to be there to take her newborn pictures and her 1st photo shoot when she is home. :)
I met up with Xenia again after 4 years and was so happy to see her and meet her son,Christopher. He was very shy and not too sure if he was comfortable taking pictures, but being my crazy self I made the boy come to life!!

I had Xenia bring a few of the things she had that reminded her of Karen and some of the mementos she has kept for her. This picture is my favorite since they are both holding the frame that holds Karen's tiny footprints.I think this picture will forever be treasured by them and myself. This is why I love to do what I do,because there are so many moments that you don't wanna miss and you always want to treasure forever.

I can only imagine the things Xenia has gone through, but I do pray for her often, that the Lord gives her strength to pull through it. I told her that when this baby girl comes a little part of Karen will be with her, and when she see's her she will know it. Thank you Xenia for letting me take part in this day with you and Christopher. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.
